Day Six: Tetonin'
We be Tetonin’. That’s right, KOA is for the birds—tonight, we slept a short walk from this:
for a fraction of the cost of the spelling-challenged KOA. Granted, such amenities as showers were omitted, but hey, it’s a road trip. Here’s our campsite, a photo we neglected to take at the rain-ridden Mount Rushmore site:
The view more than made up for the lack of KOAmenities. Andy and Jason demonstrated their stone-skipping prowess by the lake, and we stayed until the dark came.

The two Eagle Scouts then began setting our exceptionally flammable purchased firewood ablaze. We enjoyed the campfire for a brief while before heading for bed.
